Welcome to FTE. Yes you can run B99 without any engine modifications, although it would be wise to carry a spare set of fuel filters since Bio will clean out your fuel lines and tank. If you have any gunk in there, it may plug up a filter.
If you get a bad batch of Bio that causes a problem, it will not be covered under warranty. Just like if you get some bad old fashioned diesel. That's not a warranty item either. Ford's position has been a max of B5, so if there are any concerns, it would be wise to dilute the fuel with as much regular diesel as possible before taking it in.
A mechanic told me that when the engine burns fuel not all is burned and the unburned fuel drips into the engine oil. In the case of Bio its solvents will break down the oil quicker. Have you noticed any thing like that? How often do you change your oil?

It doesn't exactly drip into the oil, but some does work it's way back in there. If he's got a bypass filtration set up, he's filtering much better than the stock set up. His oil analysis will also show if this becomes a concern.
I just stuck with the 5k change interval when I was running bio (supply issues right now). If you're wanting to go past 5k then an oil analysis is recommended.
