How is the truck running? Sure its oil and not fuel? If it is the HPOP might just be a gasket between the HPOP and the reservoir. You might want to start by giving it a good cleaning to see exactly where the leak is coming from. What year is your truck? How many miles?
it will start up and die when the engine is could and have a ruff idle until it is worm. I am 99% shore it is oil, it was leaking diesel i replaced the lifter pump and had to put a new fuel canister because it was cracked i have have the gasket for the hpop it is just about the last thing i have not replaced or rebuilt on top of the block

Did you ever remove the plug on top of the HPOP reservoir to see if it is staying full of oil? Some of these trucks have a problem with the oil draining back down from the reservoir when the engin is not running witch may be causing the problems you are having with the way your truck is running. Not sure if your truck has the drain down problem. The thing is I would hate to see you replace what may be a expensive part and it is not going to fix the problem. There is a injector pressure regulator on the HPOP that may be responsible for the problems you are describing.

I would strongly suggest that you listen to the advice that you are being given so you can properly isolate the exact location and the identity of your leak.
You need to throughly clean the "Valley of death" and mop it dry with many paper towels. Then armed with a "Good" flashlight and a clear swivel mirror you will be able to trace the leak and probably save yourself much time and money.
To be perfectly honest with you I am not sure. I am a bit of a newbie myself. Hopefully the gurus will jump in and try to help you figure out why your truck is not running to good.
Did you get a chance to pull the plug of the top or the HPOP reservoir to make sure if it is staying full?
If the gasket on the HPOP reservoir is the only thing that is leaking, I would replace the gasket and while I was in there, I'd repalce the o-rings on the IPR, thats it.
