Well, in the first pic, that connector plugs into the main harness for trucks with the ammeter gauge.

This altenator harness will not work for trucks with Warning lights.

No, you will need a altenator harness for warning lights.

This harness hooks the voltage regulator to the altenator and to the main harness differently. you would have to hack that harness to bits and change some wiring around to make it work.

Find a Altenator harness for warning lights, or replace the main harness for one with gauges.

I do believe some of the econoline vans use these same altenator harnesses too. But check to make sure.

As for the two prong plug, I need to see a picture of it to be sure.

Yellow/Black and Red/Orange wires?

That is the plug that goes directly to the ammeter gauge via the main harness.

Green/Red Wire.

On Trucks with warning lamps, Green/red wire goes to altenator warning lamp.

On Trucks with gauges, goes to ignition switch.
