Just saying Hello
This is my First Diesel. Wasn't too happy pulling over mountains with my F150. This thing I have now just goes like nothing is back there.
About me.
I'm an elder statesman. Been retired twice. Once after 22 years in the Navy, and again after 22 years with the City of San Diego Equipment Divison as a Machinist and then Supervisor of the FAB Shop. Not a very good welder though.
I like to 4 wheel. Mostly in my Jeep. Have used the F250 on some trails but mostly fire roads.
The truck is mostly in stock form. I've done a few things.
Coated the bed with Rino lining. Put some Fender Flares on it with the anticipation of puttng on bigger meats after I wear out the orgionals. I also have the Superchips ll program installed,
The Jeep is lifted and highly modified. Running a fresh 4.0, auto tranny with an Atlas ll T/C. 4:56 gears and lockers both ends with 35" Goodyear mudders.
Hope to make it to Big Bear this weekend and meet some of the group.
BigGeo.

Thanks for joining us, George (I'm assuming that's your name). That sounds like a pretty serious Jeep - hope I get a chance to see it this Saturday.
What year diesel pickup? We have a members here with 7.3's and some with 6.0's - always a reason for a little good-natured ribbing between the two.
You'll like this site - there's a wealth of info on the tech boards and we try to have a little fun in the chapter forum here.
Enjoy yourself.
