warranty ???

ok i bought a 04 f150 fx4 extended cab back at the end of february. well here is my ? I got the General Electric warranty the dealership offered me. I didnt know they offered car warrantys but anyways. I wana put a leveling kit on my truck and possibly a add a leaf. Will this void my warranty. I ran into the guy that financied me for my truck and the warranty work said its up to a certain height only he didnt know though. So I wana know. I got a dual exhaust on with a flowpro (didnt wana but the guy who put it on fed up) would that cause me problems he didnt think so. what about a cold air intake or gauges. I know this seems like a lot. But I wana do it over time but I got a 4 year 48000 mile warranty so I dont wana void it by doing these things. Thanks

They are not allowed to void your warranty just because you modified your truck. If the modifications cause (or possibly could have caused) a problem you can bet they won't cover it.

If you want to do it, go ahead. In my experience, if you are straight forward with the dealers and don't go ballistic if they balk at covering something, they will usually support your claim, especially if you buy from them.

Horse is right if you go in and there is a problem and the modification caused it they will void warranty on that but i have heard some are better on the situation than others

they can void the warranty on specific items...but not the whole warranty.

most you can expect is ball joints/half shafts won't be covered.
