Only the passenger side door will unlock but neither doors will lock. The passenger door will unlock with the remote, drivers switch, and pass. switch. It seems like both lock acc. but ti is wierd that both went out at the same time. If you jump the locks they do the same thing. Does anyone know where the relays or module that controls the locks are?
Thanks

They'll be on the passenger side of the vehicle by his right foot if he was sitting in it. There's a panel there on the plastic. The book will tell you what relay controls what.

None of those relays are for the locks. Is there a control module for the locks? I know my switches are working.
I do have an 08, so things might have changed, but mine shows it as F107, which is a glorified 30A fuse, that looks like a box. If one leg is out, that might explain the weirdness...(not a word, I know). I'd have to look at it, to be honest, but that's a start with F107. 2nd row from the bottom, almost in the middle Should be Fuse, open spot, fuse, and the next fuse from left to right. I'm off today, otherwise I'd try to "troubleshoot by internet", via alldata or mitchell which rarely works for electrical issues. I apologize.

Thanks. I am going off of what my dad is telling me I havent looked at it myself. He is a pretty good mechanic and really knows his electrical. The switches all seem to send a ground to activate the locks. Where they send it too is what He is trying to find out. The pass. side will unlock and none of the relays click when you hit the button. If it were a fuse wouldnt neither do anything?

Depends on the fuse...some are multiple fuses in one box, some are just BAF's, some work like relay's, but yes, in general theory if the fuse or relay were bad, none of them would work. If it were a multi-function relay, then you could troubleshoot it a lot easier. I'm sorry, and I hate to say it, but without it sitting in front of me, I have no clue.

Thanks for the help. I think He is being a little lazy and just wants a quick answer. A good wiring diagram would be helpful. Do you know of a good place to get one.
You going to need a schematic diagram for this. A Haynes manual will work. The Remote system is more complicated than the manual one. If you can read and schematic and use a DVOM it's pretty simple.

Yes I can and thats what I wanted when I asked for a diagram. He messed with it some more tonight. I dont know what all he did but Im pretty sure he still needs a schematic. He said if he had one it would be fixed by now. Oh ya he borrowed a scanner and a code for the alarm/keyless entry keeps coming up. Thats what he was working on getting out tonight. I dont know what he got done Ill ask in the morring. Thanks.
You go from the fuse in the power box to the relays(3). One for lock Alll doors, one for unlock ALL doors and one for the drivers door unlock function. The relays pass power to the individual soleniods(book calls them MOTORS so I guess that's why the door locks use relays and the power window motors don't). The RAP module receives power directly from the fuse and passes it to the door switches so if the switches don't have power you can back track from the input side of the switch to the RAP module and back to the fuse. If the fuse is good the relay coils(control side) should have power and the RAP module input should too. It appears they are using the door "motors" for both the lock and unlock functions since it looks like they are using reverse polarity to do the lock/unlock operation. I guess that's why they call them motors instead of referring to them as soleniods which is what I believe they probably are. Maybe they are motors, but certainly not in the normal sense that we think of a motor.
