That looks pretty much what I thought it would. All except the road warrior theme you have going on in there LOL Your steering wheel isn't stock so that will add some interesting aspects to going back to a stock switch. If you look at the wire colors peeking out of the electrical tape they match with the ones in the link I posted a few minutes ago. It may come down to replacing your old one with a newer one to solve the turn signal issue. The power to that switch should be coming from the fuse block under the headlight switch to the blinker then on to the main power feed to your aftermarket switch FOR THE TURN SIGNALS. The brake lights still go through the pressure switch on the master cylinder and tie into it via the red wire. Enlarge the wiring schematic on the aftermarket switch link I posted.
Oh trust me that is why I said it doesn't feel the same and its not the best. I had to get that fixed after a fix it ticket was handed to me...
EDIT: Check out page 57 of the online Dennis Carpenter catalog. They sell a new C0DZ-13341-A 61-62 switch for $40 and the C9TZ-13341-C for $25. Looks like I will be buying a new one sooner then I thought. Last time I saw them they were $70 just like the 56-60 one.
Uh huh...Dennis Carpenter's price is for the same C9TZ switch Ford sells, and he buys those same switches from a local Ford Dealer.
Dealer NET is $37.19, so if he's paying that price, 'Ol Dennis is losing 12 dollars and 19 cents on each and every one a them.
What a kind soul, ppl oughtta say a prayer for him.
The real reason: The price in his catalog is old and outta date. Call and see what the real price is!
btw: Just because Dennis Carpenter says he has the original tooling, don't think for a minute that all a that tooling is being used by him here in the US of A.
In one a those pics in his catalog showing one of the tooling machines being used...the ppl in the background appear to be Asians.
Now I ain't sayin' that Asians don't live here, but.....
I know he offshores some of the tooling which means some of the stuff is made in China, Taiwan and lord knows where else!
Thanks Bill, now everyone will know I dont make crap on parts and have to work my butt off to make pennys and I'll lose that cool steelership label everyone throws around. dam you man! stop telling people what our dead nuts cost is from Ford!
