Weird problem

I tried to pull away from a stop sign today and my truck would only idle.After idleing through the intersection and pumping the gas the truck finaly went and was fine for the 10 miles back home.The engine light came on at the same time and shut off when it started working.

O'Reileys, do not buy the whole pedal, just the sensor. It is a Dorman product. About 50 bucks.
