Fuel pump won't shut off
Anyone ever have any trouble with there fuel pump not shuting off when you turn the truck off ?Also does anyone no the fixx for shutting it off ???Any help would be appreciatiated it's a 2004 f150 xlt 4x4 ..

fuel pump not shutting off
Hi the first thing I would do is pull the fuel pump relay to shut it off and go from there.

anyone have any idea where the relay is located at not in the box on the firewall on drivers side and according to my maneul that came with the truck not in the fuse panel on pass side under glove box

The fuse is #9 and is a 20A. It's in the central junction box. And from what I'm reading, the fuel pump relay is in central junction box also. Just to the right of Fuse 9....
According to the manual, the relay it's not removable.... The CJB is on the RH A pillar....

I found the problem with my truck ,I guess the battery went bad all at once causeing a low voltage situation causeing the fuel relay to trip .Replaced battery with a new one and all is well so far keeping fingers crossed ...Thanks for the help Geo.

nothing like a warm summer day to make a battery say "I quit"
Thursday morning, my truck turned over a little slow, thursday afternoon it did the same thing
drove directly to Sams Club and had the battery tested (bad)
seems I bought the battery on July 4th 2006, so I got a free replacement battery!!
