We'll see if they screw it up and make it online only or if there will still be a good singleplayer or LAN play experience.

Everyone thinks MMO is the way to go, no thanks. I pay for WoW, I'm not adding another game on top of that.

They're probably going to make it too complicated or hardware intensive like SC2 is going to be. Although I will pay to upgrade, most of my old D2/SC buddies will not, and playing online RTS games is like punching myself in the face.

All the new stuff Blizzard has come out with in the past 3 years had killed me with no D3 news. I was checking IGN all day Saturday when they said it was going to be announced. I am excited but at the same time D2 took WAY too much of my life away a few years ago. I had multiple lvl 99's, and you players know how long that took. Finally I had to step away and I haven't played since.

Right now I just want a release date announced to get an idea how long we still have to wait. If they make it a pay to play like WOW I will have to step away and not buy it though.
