I've said it before, but...
Ok, I met up with a fellow FTE'r again, RussB. He was on his way through town finishing up work and gave me a call. Turned out to be an awesome time. Met for some brews, put the fella and his two dogs up for the night, and actually performed some mods the next morning on his truck. Not much but we did the HPX line and re-programmed his keyless entry thanks to some printed info from the excellent fellas on this site. Hunting plans have been made for the fall and I would like to thank this particular forum for good times and good friends! Never expected anything like this when I first signed up!

That's exactly the kind of thing I expect from joining here. This place isn't like the others. Ya'll know what I'm talking about. This forum is in a league it's own. And from what I gather the 94-97 7.3 forum is just as kosher.

Thats cool Ryan, hooking up with fellow FTE,ers is a great thing. The hospitality is the best. It puts a face on everybody behind the computer. If anybody,s going through a state and county for whatever reason and you got time, look up a fellow FTE,er and say hello! Cool story...

That is so true of this forum. I met a member last week and looking forward to meeting another this week. Can't wait to meet lots at SMOKIN.

I am trying to "meet up" with as many members as I can. I talk with a few by PM and on the phone. I met Rick (miller_feed) last weekend 
and we are already talking about getting together to do some mods on his truck when the parts come in. I had been invited to come a GTG by the AK Chapter 
, but couldn't make it. I wish there were more of us closer together so we could help each out in person. I will try to make plans for SMOKIN. That way, I can meet more of ya'll.

It's interesting that you should mention meeting others from the forum on here......I jsut got an email from someone I met on here some time ago from the F150 side. He comes playing in Colorado every year with his ATV's and drops me a line whenever he is in town. Great people here on this forum. No other like it.

Me and Jim(meggawatt) are meeting at the Carlisle, PA. truck show, looking foward to it bigtime. I hope he brings his WW so we can install. Just made the reservation, staying in the same campground. Hope to meet some other FTE,ers there also.
