It's all good Rick. I still have your Bicycle shop T-shirt in the closet, didn't burn it in anger for digging into me or my product
You are not the first one to have some issues with Coker Tires. Given the information you just laid out I would put money on the Coker prematurely wearing out an iffy rack. So glad you got it solved and now can put the miles down!~
Some good things came out of this thread. I am in PHX, AZ and have a Dakota front on my 53. As a result of this thread I now have a great local resource in Steve at Industrial Chassis.
You guys may even know my truck from it's previous owner. I'll need to plan a trip over to see the shop.
Steve, I have one of your frontend kits new in the box, it came with a truck (53 F-100) that I bought about 7 yrs ago(man has it been that long? I guess that is how life goes sometimes) anyways....I noticed in that first pic you posted that there are tubular lower A-arms. Do you make/offer these? And besides AIM, which I would rather not make comments about, who makes a QUALITY dropped spindle for this set up?
Steve,
Thank you very much for posting the information, links and your explanations. All great stuff, I've saved the links for future reference after reading them all.
Thanks & Best Regards,
Jon

I love that unibody!!!
The tube arms were prototypes that I wanted to put a ton of miles on to test the design before we unleash them on the public. So far NO problems and we are working on a direct replacement set. All we have at the moment are the arms to be used with coil overs.
As far as dropped spindles go, we currently use Western. Their quality control seems to be the best but all of them have the steering geometry wrong. That is the reason for the dropped tie rod kit in the above posts.
