I'm looking at getting some "T444" badges for my IDI. I also have various other emblems etc. on other vehicles that need reattatched. Who makes good/best "goop" for putting them on?
3M?
Someone else?
3M makes a good product, but I just used what they gave me at the autoparts store so I don't know what the brand was. I used it to attach some body moldings on my F150 since I dodn't want to put holes on the body like it had from factory. Its been a couple years and they are still hodling even though it was only a 1/4" strip on the top and bottom.
If it is intended for use on autobody for moldings or badges, than I don't really think it matters all that much who makes it. Prepping of the part and surface will matter much more.
3M Plastic emblem adhesive, comes in a tube just follow the directions and they will never come off. I found this out while trying to get one eblem off my wrinkled fender (bumped into some venison)

Ordered some 2 1/4" "rounded" emblems from Chrome Automobile Emblems. Figured if they are advertising on here and paying to keep the site going I can send them $42 bucks---free shipping. Got 3-Ts and 9-4s, gonna put one set on each side under the "Turbo Diesel" emblems and a set on the tailgate. They are self adhesive but htis info is good knowledge for my other rigs.
They look a lot like the emblems on the new Dodges, I REALLY like that style badging so we'll give 'em a try.
