I have a 95 Bronco (full size). I have a Kenwood head unit with 2 amp preouts. I want to run 2 Sony 2x60 amps (for my front and rear speakers) and a subwoofer. How can I run that off my head unit, I need 3 RCA jacks and my deck only has two. Any ideas? thanks!

The BEST way is to go buy a Graphic Equalizer. It will have one set of preouts in and 3 sets out and probably an adjustable crossover for the sub output. Or you can go down to Wally world and get a pair of RCA splitters and just tie them (subs) into the rear (or front ) set.
Just remember, when you fade to the front, you will fade away from your subs.
Best thing to do would be to get a new deck that has a dedicated set of sub outputs. You can either run 1 four channel amp for your front and rear speakers, and use the rear output for your subs, or use the front output for the front only and combine the subs and rear speakers on a 4-channel amp. The second way I described would be the better way to go, however as stated in the above post you will lose the ability to fade between your subs andrear speakers.
Thanks. I can switch one of my preouts on my deck to a non-fading subwoofer only. If I do this then what would be the best way to run the two 60x2 amps off the one output? Can I just put in a splitter at the deck or should I run an equalizer? Will I loose my fade capability for my front and rear if I do this? Thanks Ben
Hi
Do you mean you have two pre outs or two sets of pre outs
(1 set=1 red + 1 white or black)If you only have one set of pre outs and you would like fadability then your best bet is an eq. Other bonuses to an eq are as others have said and dependant on the eq are one in put/front, rear and sub out, adjustable sub
crossover, sub level control, you will clean up the signal and therefore increase usable volume . Mine also has time correction ,9 BBE modes ,6 surround modes ,6 preset eq modes, 14 band eq and about 8 different display options. Some Alpine amps also have the option of running a two channel amp three channels (or a 4channel 5/6 channels)on a two channel you would run left and right normal and at the same time bridge those two channels for the sub (with an external x-over).You might like to read up and see if your amps have a similar option ,It might make things a little easier.

If you select 1 set of your preouts to be a nonfading subwoofer output, and use the other to run amps for both your front and rear amps, you will lose the ability to fade between them. You would have to put in an equilizier to maintain front and rear fade.
Thanks Murph and Tonka, I do have two sets of preouts on the deck. I'm going to go with an equalizer and run everything off of it from one set of my deck preouts. I could use the one sub preout on the deck for the sub but I think the equalizer will control it better. Thanks for all the help.Ben
