7.3 head studs
Any one tryed the DPS head studs or any other 7.3? do they work I remeber hearing a while back about some head studs for 7.3 failling and the company that made them screwing the customers but can't remeber where or who.
I'm planing to tear my motor down to see whats wrong if it is the head gasket and I can find the money i would like to stud it.

The 6.9 had bad head bolts (stretched) the 7.3 were larger and did not have that problem. As long as there is NO distortion of the bolt threads and you bottom tap the block bolt holes to clean any garbage out..... studs were not required. I have used my bolts 3 times for head removals with no problems and good torque numbers.
