I have a 1996 Mazda B2300 pickup (same as 1996 Ranger). It has the stock double DIN AM/FM/Cassette unit. I would like to replace the unit with either a Ford CD or CD/cassette combination. I see a lot of 1998-2001 Ford double DIN CD and CD/cassette systems for sale. How can I tell which units will work with my truck? I assume that I will probably need to get a wiring conversion adapter from Crutchfield.
