Yeah.......it fits in there with not much to spare. Some here have ground some cross-support away but I got mine in.
Took about 1hr. to figure out how to do it. I went back end first then backed into the hole. Had to undo the heavy battery cable after I had attached it at first to hold this thing up. weight is 24lbs. it will give you a workout. Had it in and out 3 or 4 times before I got it right.
I know some on here will think I'm nuts, but since I'm headed to BTS this wednesday and having a lot of work done I thought it wise to install this starter since it would be easily accessible.
I got as far as giving DB my CC# but when I asked him where the starter was made, he said CHINA: I was disappointed and canceled my order.
Too bad there isn't an American company that could manufacture this starter.
I'm by no means slamming anyone who buys one of these. I just can't help support a government who routinely tries to hack into our computer systems and allows contaminated products to hit our market. It's only a matter of time before we're at war with them IMHO.
