Air Conditioner mod?

Can a person help the air conditioner vent temp on these OBS trucks with the same valve mod as used on the Super Duties? I am talking about the vacuam operated valve mod. If so any instructions on the net?

The A/C mod on the SD's is just a coolant shut off valve for the heater core. You can get the vacuum operated 4 port vavle for a ranger and plumb it into the white(I think) vacuum line

so the SD's always circulate coolant into the heater?
That sucks. does ours do that?

Our OBS trucks have coolant going thru the heater core all the time. Go to parts house ask for the heater valve for a 1990 Ranger with the V6.And plumb in in.

Can't you just plumb in a regular spindle valve like they do on the big rigs?

Yes you can just put a shut off valve in there. I don't want to do that cause in MI there are days when you still need the heater in the morning and A/C during the day
