hello-
i am currently looking to upgrade my sound in my bronco. i was looking in the paper today and found a package setup in the circuit city ad. it includes the following: 600 watt amp/2 ohms(MTX T4250D) & two 500 watt 10" MTX(MTX T6104)subs with a sealed box. all of this for $400. i was just wondering if this was a good deal and if they sounded good. also i was wondering what these speakers are paper cones are whatever?
I have had mixed results with mtx products. From what I have seen, MTX's high end stuff is pretty good, but their low end stuff can be pretty cheesy. Check out their web site, or just go down to Circuit ity and ask a sales guy- they know the ins and outs of the products. I suspect the sale is probably on low end stuff, but I can't say for sure.
That system is ok, but only ok. Your better off talking to people with systems than the circuit city people. MTX makes good amps but there subs aren't that good. Rockford Fosgate makes the best subs in my opinion. www.cbrstereo.com is the cheapest site on the net by far and i have bought from them. Its all brand new and ships fast.
