Remote Key Reciever Location In E150
This is my very first post on this forum or any other forum for that matter. I hope you all don't find my question too wordy.
I just took delivery of a 2008 Ford E150, XLT Club Wagon with almost all the bells and whistles. This new wagon is taking the place of my 1999 E150 Chateau Club Wagon which I am presently cleaning up as I plan to sell it privately.
When I bought the 99 wagon I had the dealer install a Ford security system on it. I want to use that same security system unit in my 2008 wagon.
The wiring harness is identical in both vehicles and I have no problem tackling the job as I am a retired electrician.
I need to know; Where is the receiver for the remote key entry system located in the van? Since the fob is a transmitter, there has to be a reciever in the vehicle to recieve the signal from the fob in order to unlock the doors and I can't seem to find it in the van.
