my buddy dusted his with the stock filter, and I didn't see the 6637 in the mod list so thought maybe that would be the issue, not that it makes the compression issue any easier to swallow. But hopefully it won't happen again.
#2,3,6,7, and 8 are low. 2 is out of line and 7 is pretty much dead. Now KWIK will be the first one to say that a diesel with low compression will run fine and make good power once it starts and gets warm. I don't think that is going to happen with the #2 and especially the #7 compression numbers.
I doubt blow by or excessive CC pressure has anything to do with the turbo seals. It is either good or not. They are designed to withstand EGTs in the low thousand area and boost up to 30psi.
Your stalling engine is likely a common CPS or connection problem unrelated to the compression as the engine should run on 6 holes easily.
I don't know about rebuilds in your area, seems this one was not done right. Might try to find a wrecked truck at a boneyard. Remember, the 7.3 can be found in a lot of vehicles. Good luck.
