Well I Think I Did It...

I kept losing water, no leaks, started to un screw the cap on the coolant thingy to release pressure and it shot off and across the yard. I think the head gaskets are gone. Didn't know it was as easy to do in a 7.3 but figures if it can be broke, I can brake it. I took the thermostat out and its not broke, it moves freely.

Anyone know of a way I can check to be 100% sure its head gaskets? should I replace head studs too while its apart or is that not needed on 7.3?

2003 7.3 What do you guys think?

Could be an injector cup, or head gasket. Seems like you'd see some seepage around the heads if it was a head gasket.

Stock injectors, no big mods other than a chip, he lives close. Im goin to take a look at it in a few days when i get a chance. I can't say for sure what it is without looking at it. Even then, i dont know if i could say for sure.

Im not sure about others but problems with my truck seem to come in 3's or 4's. We run the crap out of my truck so i expect repairs but right now i just cant keep up. Its not the fuel but the expense of the parts everytime something goes bad. The though of selling it has come up more and more often - Switching to a Chevrolet Isuzu W series box van possibly. Larger payload in the truck, less towing. Parts are cheap as can be and repairs couldnt be any easier. Plus those 4 cylinder isuzus run forever.
