I saw some of these when i was in Brasil and Argentina two years ago. I thought they looked pretty cool, although they didn't have enough bed for "real truck" uses.
You see a lot of stuff like that in South America. The "Big 3" all had plants down there that built for the local market. When I was working in Venezuela in the mid '70s you could buy a brand new '63 Impala with a four cylinder engine. I heard that they shipped the body dies down and built cars that the locals could afford. Lot's of weird combinations. Brazil has a pretty big auto industry. They used to use a lot of ethanol made from sugar cane.
Looks like an old version of the Avalanche only prettier with the blue oval Sorry but that Chittlet is ugly. Ok am putting myself in the corner for a bit
