tubbed problems
Just wondering what type of problems your having, how is your truck setup
now? Is it 4/link, or ladder bars and coil-overs, or are the leafs under the
frame, or inside the frame ( INBOARD )? Take a minute and check out my
article and let me know what you think? If there is any I can do to help let
me know!

Not to jack your thread, how did the suspension hook with the inboard leafs? I had a pal in Ontario that did the inboards and ladders on his 63 Uni. Promptly pretzeled all the suspension the first time the mickeys hooked....After that i switched my build to coil overs and ladder links from Chassis Engineering. Never did finish the truck. I gave it to some friends in York PA, as i could not bring it with me to Arizona.

The inboard leafs work very well, while I drove it to work every day I did get
to try different combos, the first 3.50 hogs head gave up very quick with the
brand new (Micky T 29.1850s) I was running a built 351w! Then I ran 3.70s
2.70s ,4.11s with a spool, the trucks that I pro-Streeted I didn't install any
traction device's besides 15 1/2 inch of rubber to the ground. Now keep in
mind that even though the 77 was tubbed I used the truck as a truck, I pulled
a trailor with it and hauled some heavy loads with it! I hauled a 351w, and a
C4 trans, and a very heavy rental cherry picker, all in the tubbed bed 1 load.
the only thing I would add is slapper bars, I made a big set years ago but they have not been installed yet!
P.S. I have heard and read for years that you don't use ladder bars with
Leafs ,but I have saw it work well by others! Now a days lots of people are
saying if you run ladders with leafs you have to install a floater setup!
P.S. as for it hooking I don't think the 28 spline axels would hang in there
with a 250 HP shot from my NOS cheater set up, but I do know my leafs
inboard set up would!
