54 Panel Truck Hinges

When you mentioned using a sliding door off a van -- has anyone ever toyed with the idea of mounting a sliding van door on the side of a Panel truck? This would allow much easier passenger use of the back and give a window on the side. I've never measured one so maybe it wouldn't even fit. But if the size was right you could cut out the whole side of the van with the tracks in place and marry into the truck. Too far out? Maybe, put makes for some interesting thinking. Not sure I could cut the whole side off my Panel but I can at least think about it.
