Adding speakers... 68 f100
I have a 68 f100 and right now there is a sony tape player with 2 6x 9's. The sony tape player is 35w x 4. I am putting in a jvc 40w x 4 cd player (ebay). well my friend just got new speakers in his 94 explorer, he doesnt want the factory ones and he gave them to me. Would it be too diffucult to mount these 2 speakers on my cieling.. like cut 2 holes to fit the 6inch factory ford speakers in there. Is it easy to wire up a cd player with speakers and such.. thanks

In my opinion...I would just save yourself the time and wait till ya can get some new aftermarket speakers. I donno about the wiring part. But they are stock speakers...and stock speakers are....well they are stock. That's all I have to say

The speakers should come with wire in the box. They should be long enough to reach anywhere in the truck. They will be double stranded - one on it is for power and the other for ground. Use the book on the JVC and run the speaker wires to the corresponding wires for the radio.
