blue tooth cd player prefrence
Hello, I have a 70 F100 that needs a cd player and was thinking about getting one with blue tooth but dont know which one.
I know that some of them have poor speakers and makes it hard to be heard from the caller.
does anyone know where to get a good one or have a preference and or tell me of some bad ones to stay away from.
I dont want to spend that much money...
also one with cd, mp3, and an external plug for mp3 players on the dash unit.
I have a motorola slvr7 and would like to use its itunes to play in my trucks speakers. when I finaly find speakers i want to use and figure out the placement.
and also on a seperate note.
I am planning on doing my own head liner with black carpet to match my dashboard and was thinking about doing head speakers.
maybe I will just put in box speakers, any sugjestions? thank you.
any speaker placement sugjestions would be helpfull.

I just recently installed a Kenwood KDC-BT838U. It has built in bluetooth, sat ready, HD ready, ipod ready. The bluetooth works great. You can pick what speaker you want the audio to come from. I've used it with the windows rolled down and had no issues hearing the person on the other end. They didn't seem to notice that I had the windows rolled down either. You can setup the bluetooth to use any of the speakers. I have it setup to use both front speakers. Kenwood is using Parrot for there bluetooth and from what I read Parrot seems to be the best.
The other thing i like about this radio is the USB. I put some MP3's on a USB flash drive and it plays them just fine. Don't know what other mp3 players are supported other than the ipod.
One down side to this radio is that it is not easy to use. I had to read the manual a couple times to figure things out. Once I learned where everything is it is not to bad. It does come with a remote which makes it even easier to use.
All and all I really like this radio. Hope this helps.
