my truck has something wrong but not for sure what it is ,i think its a broken pin in the leaf sring on the driver side but not sure,it doesnt drive bad but if u stand from behind the truck and look down boths sides of the truck u see the drivers rear tire and wheel look s warped or **** sided, ive even did a tire rotation from the front and still looks the same ,so its not a warped rim ,i even changed the axle, brakes, hub so if its not the leaf spring is there anything else to check,i have a whole parts truck so what ever i need to replace i can thanx guys for any help
get out a tape measure, and start measuring things. i dont see how the truck can have anything "warped". buy a new set of springs if it isnt level from side to side. if the leaf spring pin is snapped, youre wheelbase should be different on one side (distance from center of front tire to center of rear tire) i have never heard of this problem before. has the truck been abused? is the axle housing bent? this is almost impossible however. we need more specific info though. try comparing the truck to youre other one. good luck.
I have seen the truck frames bent, though it was a hard hit on a high curb that did the job, remember these are old trucks they only take so much abuse! but you can try doing a center alignment go from frame to center of tire on each side one has to be out, look at the bushings in the spring hangers, see if the spring is against the metal hanger, they should have rubber between the metal parts. If all that dose not yield another question then find a long straight edge and place it on the frame, you just never know!
