Where is the best place to start looking for a vacuum leak. My AC works fine through the defrost sections and works fine through the rear for the kids. When I press the buttons to change the direction (ex. dash, floor, or combine dash and floor) I dont hear anything. Before I used to here the vent flap or whatever it is switch over and close to redirect the air flow. I dont hear anything. I have the digital climate control if that make any difference with the advice for me. I have located the black and gray hoses behind the glove box and found them in the engine.
I don't have the climate control, but the ESOF system is only suspect if your HVAC acts up when you shift in and out of 4wd. Otherwise it is some other problem.
Thats right, if you are not putting it in 4x4 at the time you are having this problem, then it is not your hubs that is causing this problem. You need to start looking for an electrical problem.
Sorry for the delay. I hardley ever use 4x4 drive. However I couldnt tell you when the problem started. In the winter months I always had the defrost section on and I only have about an 8 mile drive to work. When I got the truck I made sure that everything was working though. So I know the problem has started in the time frame that I have had the truck. I have a friend at the stealership who owes me a favor, so maybe I'll try to see what he says or if he can fix it. Finding time is the main thing. So for now it roll'em down and go.
