Anybody know of a good amp that will fit under my seat. The ones I've seen at my local audio store have been too big. I really don't want to lose any space behind the seat on my regular cab F-150. I have a pioneer head unit and 4 mb quart speakers in the stock location and I was hoping to get a little more out of them without compromising space. thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that's what I was trying to avoid. I know that sounds crazy but I was just wondering if anyone had ever put one under the seat on a truck similar to mine, and if so what brand/model. Thanks.

One thing you may want to watch out for is space between your seat and the top of the amp. They need some room to breathe, so make sure you have enough room with it, but if you can do, please let me know what kind of amp you get. I tried it, but it would not fit with much room for air.
I used to have some small Pioneer amps that I had under the seats of my Ranger. I looked on the Pioneer site to see if they still had them, and this is a link:

Amp not fit under the seat?? u sure u aren't talkin about the Subwoofer? amps are only like 2" high! u should be able to fit one under there. But if u do mean the Sub., go to Jcwhitney.com and check out their special under the seat subwoofers...it is a 8" sub in a box that fits under seats.....or maybe even try www.crutchfield.com they might have it. But i think u have the sub and amp thing mixed up? amps are the little boxes that power the woofer. unless your goin for the powered ones with built in amp? but why do that in a truck? hope that helped. laterz
There is tons of room under there, I have a clarion amp under each side of the bench seat and a crossover in the middle. Pull out your seat and carpet lay the wires, cut a few slits in the carpet for the wires, put the carpet in, bolt down the amp, make the electrical connections and go to town.
