Need some info
I'm planning on doing a custom headliner in our '41 ford truck and need some imput on a stereo setup. Since we're putting a/c in, the dash and under dash is not an option. I need to design whatever we put in into the headliner but need it as thin as possible to not take away from the contour of the cab.
What is the thinnest unit I can get? Are there any thin units that have either a CD or Tape built in? If not, would there be any seperate CD/Tape add-ons that would hook up and be as thin as the stereo. What brands and where to get?
If we end up having to put the stereo under the seat, does anyone sell a remote unit to install in the dash like they put in the steering wheels of the newer vehicles? Didn't know what it would be called so was unable to find any info in my general search.
