Air Bag Light Blinking Then Solid
Anyone know if this can be fixed fairly easily? The air bag light flashes 4 times then stays solid. Been like this for about a month.

It should flash a two number code, like 2-5. It should flash this code 2-3 times then go solid. Take a look again and let us know what it says.

I took a look at what it was flashing. The first time I checked it was flashing 4 times than 5. Did that i think about 5 times. Than today when I was looking at it, it would flash 3 than 4 times. Then go solid after 5 sequences. Ill check tomorrow to confirm.

I believe that is telling you that the passenger airbag "off" indicator bulb is not functioning.

You're right! I just noticed that the "passenger off" light was not lit up.
Hmmmm
THANKS!

I think a bad light bulb/led causes this. Ford will charge you a butt load for the part, but you can replace the LED yourself for a few bucks, Radio Shack probably has what you need.

Make sure that if you get an LED, that it has a resistor built it. Otherwise, the truck will still see it as "burned out".
