Haven't been here for awhile and decided to post about my brand new Ford I bought last fall. Its a F-350 SRW CC 6.4 and all I can say is if I knew now what I known then I would never bought this truck. This is frigin shame to pay 50+K on a pickup and get POS in return for my hard earned money.
this truck has been back about 15 times for numerous problems some the same some they can't fix. The truck is not modded and is total stock. at times I would not have the truck back for 5 days.
list of problems:
regens every 150 miles and wont come out, have to bring to dealer and they hook it up and run the regen cycle to take it out. 150 miles more it goes back in
replaced low end turbo
replaced second turbo after it failed while on vacation.
2 injectors
cant get rid of noise in cab ( sounds like washers in a can being shaken when RPM is at 1400-1600.
something broken under dash and it keeps banging into it while driving on rough roads.
leaking radiator fluid
springs in back of truck when loaded with 1000lbs is flexed over and hitting helper bumper, now you know what that sounds like.
trucking making a weird turbo noises when you get on it.
MPG average 9-11 unloaded sometimes 6-8
and the list goes on
Conclusion this is the saddest POS I have ever had the privilege of owning. Mileage is just over 10,000
I have been a Ford man for awhile and sad to say they have lost my business forever.
I wonder if I go after the lemon law on this truck if they will redo all of the undercoating/ diamionizing/ sprayed in truck bed liner/ and would I keep the tires I put on the truck?

Not an expert here, but can tell you that the lemon laws of each state can differ. I know that in some states, you will be charged for mileage but can be compensated for liners and some other aftermarket items, or you may remove them if you put the truck back to original condition. I know in Fl. that the lemon law is limited to trucks with a GVW of 10,000lbs or less. Then you get into the argument of GVW (written word in the law) vs. GVWR (dealer's interpretation of the law).
It can get a bit messy so check out the lemon law handbook the dealer gave you first.
