well i put new glow plugs in and it still wont start when warmed up. i bled the fuel line before the injector pump and its good. so would that mean the injector pump is bad
When you check a transfer pump you check to see the vacuum it will pull and if I can remember it is like 18 in" HG at 200 rpm. I think the return volume is somewhere between 150 to 250 CC's That varies from DB, DB2, and DB4 pumps.
You can try and check the fuel shutoff solenoid when its hot.
Jumper a wire from the positive side of the battery to the FSS connector on the injector pump with the engine off. Here's a pic:
You should hear a "click" from the top of the injector pump when power is applied. Make note of any difference between tests on a hot and cold engine. With solenoid jumpered to the positive side of the battery it might startup if the FSS is getting weak. Conductors have higher electrical resistance when warm, so maybe thats why it won't fire up when hot.
Not sure if this is the problem, but its worth a try as it doesn't require any fancy tools.
If you don't mind some diesel everywhere take the top off the pump. See if it will start. You can start these with the top off the pump. Then take your finger and kill.
I have a top laying around somewhere that I use for a test sometimes. I put a manual shutoff on a guys truck once and I still have his old top.

OK, are you getting fuel to the injectors? loosen each of the injector lines and see if any fuel squirts out frome the connection when you crank the engine.
but it starts fine when cold so would that still be a possibility
Now thats different. From your earlier post I understood that it will act up hot or cold. But yes, it could still be the FSS. Warm electrical circuits have more resistance than cold ones. It is possible that a weak FSS can fail to function perfectly on a hot engine, but still work when everything is cold.
Check for fuel pressure when the engine is completely cold and working properly (just a quick turn over). Then when it acts up again (hot engine), recheck for fuel pressure at the injectors.
