Wow, Thats a big decrease in sulfer content. Now we need sulfer in a bottle!!
Thats what i'm thinking, you know you can buy sulfur, anybody know what the ratios to get the desired PPM of sulfur to a desired level? Not that i would do that
Sulfur is not a lubricant, it is in fact the stabilizer for the lube in the fuel. Think of it like the saturated fat they add to peanut butter. Running a lube additive is all you need. Adding sulfur in a bottle will do no good.

I mean to restore some of the fuel mileage everyone is reporting with low sulphur fuels
The mileage loss is because of lost BTUs per gallon of fuel, sulfur does nothing for the BTUs...
A fuel suppliment might help, but I never trusted anything from the snake oil department, so I can't really say what might work.
The quality of diesel will improve again, but it will take some time. Remember what happened to leaded gasoline in the late 70s. Todays gas is way better even with all the changes that were made for better emissions.
