It's an Opel....either an "Admiral" or a "Diplomat" - a German car. I have a "World Cars 1975" and there's a car with the exact same roofline. I can give you all the specs on it if you like...this book is tremendously detailed!
It looks like the pictured one isn't a 1975 because the front grille's different, though.
Admiral ore Diplomat.. but speedo in miles and no Opel Blitz logo.... Were they sold in the USA.... Speedo in miles and red dir. lights (from 60-s they are yelow in Europe)... Looking at photos above I think it is Admiral... and really these bumpers look too old.
BTW, before painting I tested my selfmade bumper on aerostar driving in small made of steel pole at 10 MPH. Pole is bent..... Bumper got scratched.
I don't think that they were ever imported here (in Canada). I was just a kid then, but as having the "World Cars" book at 10 will attest, I was car-crazy and would have remembered that car.
As it was a GM product, it would have taken away sales from the then-popular Nova.
It could have come from Mexico, or another such country...
I see all Opel cars were and now are sold in the USA, but now with Saturn label.... I remember old Ascona called Cavalier in the USA, Omega was Catera, vectra now is Aura.... Astra is Astra.... Globalisation....
