Amp/Sub Problems
Today while driving around I went to turn up the bass one notch on my deck and when I did my subs cut off. I checked all the fuses, still good. When I let it sit for a little while and turn it on again they'll hit once then cut off again. I'll be going over it tomorrow w/ a volt meter but i just want to get some preliminary ideas of what to look for. Thx.

Amp/Sub Problems
How long does it take to first cut out? And how long does it take to start back up again. I had this problem once due to heat. I'd crank it up and the amp would be working hard creating a lot of heat. Wouldn't take long for it to overheat and cut out.

You might want to check all of your wires thoroughly. You might have chafed wire w/bare wire touching each other... which in turn would cause a short. Either that or your amp might be fried. My friend had a cheap amp and that's was his was doing after about a month. Good luck w/yer prob...
