I have a 2005 F350 with a Daystar Leveling kit. I've decided to hold off on going big for now. I have a set of 35x13.50x20 ProComp Extreme A/T's.
Will I have enough room with the leveling kit to run the wider (13.50) 35" Tire? I know I see lots of people running 35x12.50's. If its possible ...what width rim and backspacing do I need to make it work? Thanks in advance for any help.
As always....pics would be great if you are running this combo.
I had 35 x 16.5 x 14.50 Thornbirds with a leveling kit. Had a little rub on the leaf springs. Took them off and traded back to stock Lariat rims with295 Nitto Terra Grapplers. Have very slight rub at full turn. I like em.Hope that helps.

I wanted to do the same thing with my 07 F-350 Everybody I talked to said the 13.50 wide tire will rub if you do any off road stuff. They *may* clear on pavement is what I was told. :dunno:
I wanted to put 325/65/18 tires on 18x9" wheels. with a leveling kit. Do you think yours rubs because of the 10" wide wheel?
Where does it rub? how close are the 12.50 to rubbing?
Mine just barely rub on the plastic fender liner at full lock (but not enough to bother anything)
Mine rub because my 18x10" wheels have only 4.5" of backspacing so the wheel sits out further than it has to. I should have 5.5" backspacing but my wheels were only available like that.
I couldn't really tell you if they would rub with only a levelling kit and 9" wheels, but it would not be hard to pull back the fenderliners enough to stop the rubbing.
I don't think you would have any rubbing if you go with the 12.50" tire on a 9" wide rim and a levelling kit.
I will be going with 35"x12.50"x20" I don't want to take the chance of rubbing even thou I would like the wider tire.
for myself the only reason I want to go with 13.50 is because of the load weight capacity is greater than the 12.50 .
12.50 = 3640
stock tires = 3750
13.50 = 3860 pounds
for towing large 5th wheel trailer !!
