85 ranger overheating?
1985 ranger 2wd 2.3L 5 speed
its always had this problem just never this bad, i used to drive this truck to school (about 20 miles there and back) every day, about the time it gets to the school or to my neighborhood it starts acting up, the engine cuts out when you get on the throttle or let out on the clutch even the slightest, the temp gauge reads fine though. recently it wont even get 4 blocks from my house without doing this. i replaced the thermostat and i could get alittle farther. the gaugse still reads fine, it actually reads alittle cooler with the new thermostat.
any ideas? im clueless.
