Question AC/Heat only blows on feet

Does anyone have any idea why the fan will only blow on the feet. The blower motor works fine. Could it be the control on the dash ? Flapper ? Thanks !

yes its the control on the dash, you might need to pull the dash to get to that if its broken, but pulling the dash is not that hard

Yep, sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere.

This diagram shows the Ranger HVAC control system in general:

The next diagram shows how the vacuum hoses hook up to the back of the control unit that is mounted in your dash, and also how the vacuum is routed to achieve a particular function:

Based on the above, it seems that maybe your Floor/Panel Door is stuck open for some reason.

I have a follow up question. I am having the same problem but it will blow through the panel vents at a stop, but once I give it gas it goes to the floor and defrost. Is this a similar problem?, and is the vac problem usually always in the dash or could it be elsewhere?

It's a similar problem in that there is a leak in the HVAC system somewhere. Your's sounds like a more generalized leak, but the diagnostics are the same. Check out this thread and read through the links and you'll get an idea of what you are dealing with:
