Rattling Rear Caps

Are there any tricks to stop my rear center caps from rattling - it is driving me crazy. 1997 F250 Crew cab.

I bought aftermarket caps.......no clips......they go over the wheel studs.They dont say Ford but were less than 1/2 the price....lifetime warranty too on the metal sleeve that holds it on.

wrap the hub with duct tape enough to tighten them up. It will take quite a bit but its affective.

The duct tape mod does work! did it on mine and no rattles a couple years down the road.

I stuck a piece of heavy felt in one of mine, that cured it. It was part of an insole from an old pair of boots.
