New bed
I have been wanting to take my flat bed off and put a reg. bed on the truck.After alot of searching......everything I find needs a bit of work(body shop work$$$$...if I was capable of doing it it would not be a problem).
Has anyone seen a 99+ bed mounted with an OBS cab?Pics would be a bonus.I figure I can run my r. tank off of my aux tank so I need not worry about them having a single tank.
The 99+ bed are easy to find(found some 08 complete for 600.00).........anyways its just a thought.If you have pics or a comment would be greatly appreciated.

don't know how far from Indiana you are but there is a place is Bristol, IN called Dicks Truck parts that has beds in good shape for the OBS don't really know prices though. I am sure you could put a SD bed on an OBS my buddy has a 78 Pickup that has a bed from a 95 truck on it wasn't any real issues with mounting that.

I called them....he wants 1300 for a bed w/ tailgate.......then paint I would have about 2k into it....little more than I would like to spend....but may have to bite the bullet(as long as the wife dosent find out)

Yeah they were a bit much...he had a couple that were "good work truck beds" for 900.00
I did not wake up in time this morning...... missed out on one that needed some patch panels over the wheel wells.....sold for 140.00 on ebay

yea i am looking to trade... i will meet you half way... with my bed on a trailer and hopefully be able to switch out with you... i do not have any specific pics of my bed but i have alot of pics on my webshots in my link... it has a dent or two in it and a rust spot but other then that it is a pretty good loking bed... i can and will get more pics tomarr just give me the word if you need em... and it has a hole in the inside of the bed for stacks... and it has a big tool box in it. i can get in the tool box and lay down and shut the lid...
