My new S&B Cold Air Intake arrived Tuesday and finally had the chance to install it last night. Started about 1845 and finished about 1930, 15 minutes before a storm with 80MPH winds hit.
The filter is oiled, which is a little more work than the new dry units but I feel a little more proven. I will be checking my fuel economy but it is pretty good in the stock form (~18 MPG). The Lie - o - meter usually shows between 18 and 19.5 MPG but calculating it comes out 17.5 - 18.5. I know I had a dirty filter a short while ago and the lie-o-meter started showing below 17.5, which made me check and mileage definately increased after cleaning (I had a OEM replacement K&N that was in when I bought it).

Goes pretty good with the "Foil Delete" mod.
Hey hows the flooding around you? News says its pretty bad.
We have been hammered with storms, but the rain hasn't hurt my way too bad. Trip from home (Marion) to work (Geneva - 40 miles) is mostly farmland and it is muddy but not flooded. Most of the farmers have crops mostly or all planted so it doesn't look too bad. I think they got nailed worse south and north of me. We had 80MPH winds yesterday but it only lasted about 15 minutes.

Glad you didn't get the bad stuff. I like your sig and we have close to the same truck. When you get your sig mods done, you will have a new truck. Keep us informed as you do them.

I got the S-B intake as well, i pulled it off to install the WW and checked inside of the tube for dirt and grit, nothing, very pleased so far with about 6000 miles or so on it. I know for one thing, it breath,s alot better. MPG,S maybe 1 or 2 for me. I'll throw some pics up later. Congrats on the intake install. Just every once and a while, check them screws that hold the snorkel and tube to the turbo piece, they can loosin a little from all the vibes.
I snugged them down pretty good, but plan on going back to check on a weekly basis for a while to be sure. Just no comfortable with tightening plastic components.
Blue Locktite may be an answer since they do thread into an insert. I will be keeping an eye on them but missed that obvious solution. Thanks for the reminder.
