It's been a little over a week now since I installed the S&B, A little over 600 miles now and the mileage has increased some. Was running 18.5 MPG and now doing 19.2 (the Lie-O-Meter says 20.1). Was hit by storms and I usually get a little lower economy when it rains (not sure why).

What did you have before? 6637 or just stock?
Big Poppa - what did you run before the S&B?
Another idea for keeping them snug: well, two...
1) washer underneath the screwhead, above the clear plastic; either just a small rubber one (will 'squish' & seal) or a rubber-backed metal washer
2) flat metal washer & split-ring combo, under the screwhead, above the clear plastic
That's sure a good lookin' set up, buddy. I like the clear, see through kinda stuff, myself. Somethin' about your engine bay looks familiar to me, even though I can't quite put my finger on it........LOL

I had the stock system in there Papa D. Was looking at different systems and before i knew about the napa filter and did some research on the different systems and decided to try it out, pleased so far. This sucker takes in some air for sure.
Hey guys, thanks for the . All that is is colored wire loom in differant sizes. I picked mine up right up there at the AutoZone. You can ussually find it in a few differant colors, I was trying to decide between red, blue, or yellow under the hood, I found a real sharp metallic blue paint for the IC tubes and HPOP cover so blue it was. Still waitin' on Pete to get me a blue filter cover with the "Air Hog" logo on it, that'll be sweet! Talk to y'all later...
