Hey Dallas. Did you guys get any more rain out that way? I was the cause of it raining here yesterday. I put down fertilizer. After they said it wasn't going to rain. Figures.

Howdy Buck. Same for us, chance of rain today, tomorrow, July, August....LOL
This weather is just nuts! Hey, how's your wife doing with the pregnancy? Summer can be tough on pregnant women.

So far so good Pat. Having to turn on the A/C at times though already. It doesn't get as hot up here as down there, but hot enough through the summer. When that time comes, I'm sure I'll have the thermostat set somewhere in the upper 60s or so. Electric bill will be huge, but have to keep her happy. I'm finally finished up on the nursery for the most part. Thanks for asking!!!!

We had to have the A/C company out yesterday. Turns out, the company that installed our heat pump 2 years ago put in some ancient control system. I knew that stupid thing wasn't working right. So, fork out more money for a new control system. Great.

Hey Pat that is just wrong, but at least it was a simple fix. I know that I have been running my A/C's pretty much non stop over the weekend. At least witht the rain that we have had today the humidity has broken some.

That was part of their "let's make sure Pat spends more money soon" plan. We had similar issues last fall just before we sold our house. Maybe I'm paranoid, but it sure seems like a lot of businesses are out to get you these days!

Luckily, we have two a/c's, one upstairs, and one down. I called a different company than the retards that installed the original heat pump.

We had a twice-per-year maintenance plan through one company. They always tried to sell us something when they showed up for the maintenance. Last fall the AC quit working and they told us it was out of freon, and had other issues. They couldn't explain how it would happen so quickly between their inspections... My wife was suspicious and we called another company. Sure enough, the problem was minor and very obvious - the wiring contacts were bad on the compressor and it wasn't even turning on. The other place wanted to sell us a complete re-charge for $120 when all that was wrong was a loose connection (that should have been covered under our maintenance agreement). I probably should have reported them to the BBB since they claimed to be so highly reputable.

Good Morning all. Another busy day, so I'll be on and off. I see the site is very slow again today.
