Thanks guys, I actually didnt have to trim it at all, it went in place with a little pushing around the edges. It has a very nice tight secure fit so not only is the 3m tape holding it in place but the tight fit is also keeping it secure.

Great Job

You did a really professional looking job on your trim considering your cost from Pep Boys. I wish that my 2004 XLT 4x4 had side moldings originally designed in to it and I don't know why Ford dropped them. The plastic cladding on these newer models really don't do much if anything to protect the doors from nicks from idiots who don't care about other folks vehicles.

Yeah it turned out really nice. I knew once I seen the molding at Pep Boys that it would fit perfectly. Glad I found it because I was just about ready to buy some OEM replacement moldings.
