Bilsteins or Ranchos?

I'm gonna have to change my shocks soon. From what I've read most of y'all have bilsteins. I found a deal on a set of ranchos, and I'm wondering how they measure up?
Thanks

In a word Bilsteins, these shocks really make a difference in the ride big time.

Unless they are paying you $300 bucks. DON'T do the Rancho's......and if they ARE paying you $300 bucks......spend that money on the new Bilsteins. Night and day difference.

I have Bilsteins. After driving my truck a buddy took off his Ranchos and replaced then with bilsteins. And he has a 2006 with front coils. His Ranchos had to much rebound and they were fairly new.

What type of Bilsteins are you running on a stock (lift) truck? I am in need of new shock also not to mention a few other things.

edit: I re-read my post and I didn't understand it, what type of Bilsteins will fit a stock suspension?

Can you buy the 5100 series for a factory height? I've looked at several sites, and can't find them, maybe just not looking in the correct spot though. Any suggestions?

I don't think you can get the 5100's for stock height. You'll have to get the Yellow and Blue type. Not the prettiest colors.....but they still ride nice according to lots of people on here. I have the 5100's...and compared to the Rancho rs5000's......it's a world of difference!

Good question Glenn! I've never ridden in a dual setup truck, but I've heard they are stiffer! Somebody will chime in I'm sure
