The only thing a chip will do is lighten your wallet. Sorry for the bad news but to get power out of these motors you have to do it old school and get your hands dirty. A full exhaust and 1.7 rockers are the easiest upgrades for that motor, ignore all the hype about CAIs and TB spacers, they won't help.
