Hey guys I'm new to this site (i have a '99 f150 ext cab short bed, 4.2L) and this thread caught my eye so here i am. i have a question. first my goal for my truck is to have enough power to spin the tires at a dead stop. i have just put on a flowmaster 40 exhaust, i can feel the power increase but it hasnt reached my goal. back to my question, wut are some mod that would give me increase power but on a tight buget.
Does anybody no of a website that has a '99 4.2L (cheap if possible) I'm having a hard time finding them
I have an 03 F150 4.2 with a Diablo sport chip. Works great. Next I'm changing out my 3.08 for 3.55 Gears for better towing and of the line performance. With stock 3.08's and a 5speed m50 trans, I smoke the tires just fine.
I have a 2003 F-15, 4.2L V-6, Auto. I can't seem to find anyone who lists a tuner for my truck. What other years will match up to my year? For the Diablo, do you have an actual part number from MotorHaven?
