What does it mean?
I noticed the other day that if I press the cd button on my factory radio while the CD is playing is displays "NO DJ".
I have found no references to this in the owners manual.
I have never seen this before on any of my other radios.
What does it mean and why does this message display like this.

DJ stands for Disk Jockey, which I assume Ford means to
refer to the CD changer unit which is separate
from the head unit.
I have seen this msg. many times on Ford factory radios,
esp. in rental cars like the Taurus and Mustang, which
companies like Hertz order w/o the CD changer.
Why you get this msg. while playing a CD and pressing
that button is a mystery to me :-X23
